heater box rebuild

Hi All,
Rebuilding my heater box and there is a sheet metal part that is not on my box that is shown in multiple photos online. I also have a spare box that I purchased for parts and the part is not on that one either. The box pictured below is from another post but the piece that I am referring to is the black painted sheet metal part that is covering half of the opening to the heater core

Do the pictures that you find this metal piece on state what year they are?
I believe you have a 75?

Yes I have a 75. No I couldn't find any information on which year the pictures came from. The spare parts box that I have was from a 76 and is identical to the one that I took off of my 75.

From what I see 70 to 76 used the same box.
77 and up used a different box and the image below is for a 77

Looks like they may have added the deflector for 77 and up. Other than that the box looks pretty close to the earlier years. Thanks for the help.
