Default Inch pounds torque - just curious

Finally finishing up a brake project (many parts are on long back order delays!). Updated rear brake lines that run into the calipers with new, pre-bent lines. AIM model calls for "80 - 115 LBS IN." I only have flare wrenches (which have been great to not strip the brake line nuts), but have not idea how to confirm the right torque specs on these. Does it matter so long as it's drawn down tight and obviously secure? Just don't want to overtighten but figured I'd ask.

You can just tighten them down without torque wrench and they'll be fine. If you want to use a torque wrench you could use a crow's foot attachment but you'll need to use a correction factor because you are lengthening the wrench. The information is easily found online.

If you feel you need to be precise, crows-foot flare wrenches can be used. Otherwise, it doesn't need to be tightened to be secure. It needs to be tightened so that it doesn't leak, but not so much that it damages anything.

That's about 6.5 - 9.5 ft-lbs. Hand tight and a 1/4 turn or so. In other words, don't force it tight but just snug.
