New throttle cable
I purchased my first corvette a month ago. It is a 74 Stingray with the 350/400TH trans.
After replacing the entire fuel system, plugs, wires, HEI cap & rotor and also replacing the worn flex plate and starter, I was finally able to enjoy some cruising time in my new toy.
However, it was short lived, as my original throttle cable gave up the ghost on me.
Many thanks to all you great people on this forum, I took your advice and purchased a Lokar TC1000 throttle cable as well as the Lokar 4000 bracket.
I can say, it was quite interesting crawling under the dash with the driver seat removed in order to remove and reinstall the gas pedal and kick down switch bracket.
Anyways...the throttle operates so much more smoothly plus I can FINALLY achieve WOT with my C3!!
