Do you mean an expansion tank? Early C3s seem to have expansion tanks from the factory. I'm swapping by 79 SB to a BB but I'm converting it to an expansion tank system since it works better.

The plastic reservoir with the pressure cap on newer cars. No cap on the radiator.
l know the newer cars have very few problems with the cooling systems because no air can get into the system.
lm doing a SRiii frame with a ls3 on a 82. I was wondering if anyone had done anything like that.
