Default '68 L36 427 front A/C compressor pivot bolt

Edit: Resolved -- front support bracket was missing the press in front pivot pin.

I have discovered that the A/C compressor on my car was not properly installed. It appears to have the correct OEM front and rear brackets in place, but I have found a few bolts omitted. One of the missing bolts is the front pivot bolt for the compressor.

My repro factory assembly manual is unclear as to where this bolt would go and what it looks like. The front mount has a well-braced arm for the front pivot point, with a non-threaded, 3/8" hole in it. Try as I might, the only threaded hole I can see that could accept a bolt in that general area (see yellow arrow in picture) is a 5/16" hole, one of 3 that mounts the sliding bracket to the front of the compressor. The manual does not appear to show this as the pivot bolt. It DOES seem to show a hidden, numberless bolt in that location.(see red arrow). I believe this is the bolt I need to source and install.

I am ready to take the compressor off if necessary, but I would like to avoid that if possible since I can't recycle my R-12.

Any thoughts, folks? Thanks in advance!
