Default LS3 Interference with AC / Heater box.

Can someone confirm to deny if the LS3 engine will have a problem clearing the AC / heater box in a C3 corvette. Mine is a 1978 car. But not sure if anything will hit the passenger side AC / Heater box ?

Thinking the coil pack might need to be relocated.

Default ac

I used the factory ac and heater with my LS1 no problems .The engine was about 2 inches from the firewall .I went with Vintage Air and set the engine about 1 inch. Charlie

Ehhh...depends on engine mounts. Ls3 coils are not flat so it may hit, I've seen it go either way.. 50/50...

I've seen some ls installs with the factory ac/heater core box on the fire wall. Looked a bit tight but manageable.
