C3 79 Mono Leaf Ride Height

Original leaf on my 79 looks very used. Looking to replace with mono leaf but worried about ride height being too high. For stock height and stock or improved performance is the 315lb or 340lb better?

Can height be adjusted? I hope there is a was to adjust height - Thx

ride height in the rear of your 79 is SUPER EASY to adjust. front , well, not so much. do a little looking around. LOTS of info on here!

Don't get the "TRW" design mono leaf. It will raise the rear even with the included 8" bolts. Suggest you look a some of the previous posts on your questions

I'm running the VB&P spring. no longer available. I read on here that Van Steel is the go to now.

Previous owner installed the TRW on my 82 and the height looks good to me.

Van Steel "Low Arch" is likely to be the closest thing to the old VB&P. I'd call them for a spring rate recommendation. My VB&P is 385 lbs, and is still a bit soft, but that might just be me.

Pic #1 looks fine to me. Pic #2 is from ground level, and looking up at the car, which makes the wheel opening look larger IMHO.
The factory assembly manual will show the correct heights. I would post them but I'm away from home and in another state.
