Default Are you ****

**** retentive that is....

Are you the type of person that will paint and purdy up a part that's going to end up burried under the dash or in the engine bay where no one other than you will ever see it?

For the record, I'm one of those type of people...

Yes, I am. Example: I painted the bracket that goes under the shifter console three times. First I repainted it because I thought the color wasn't right ; then because I couldn't live with runs and dust on the paint.

Absolutely - paint, scrub, clean etc anything that comes off regardless of where it is. Is that not the nature of the hobby?

Isn't everyone like this? I have refinished each and every single piece of my car that no one will ever see, but the most important part is that I know that is has been done properly!

I always try to do it right. And I don`t want any scratches when going back together either.

Well....I do all of the above. Paint things no one sees, and replace with stainless. But I don't call it being ****. I call it the "Immortalization Process".
or "Preservation". If keeping rust away fron every part is being ****....then I'm proud to be a BIG **** HOLE!!! :D :D :D :D

I used to think you guys were crazy for painting the frame. Since then I have cleaned up and painted things that probably not even I will ever look at again. I hope whoever gets this car after I am gone will take care of it. When he/she opens things up, they will wonder what the hell I was thinking.
