I am definitly ****. Even parts under the dash that I removed and replaced installing the manual pedals were sand blasted and powder coated. Every part under my car is powdercoated and cleaned at least once a month on a hoist and thoroughly cleaned every winter. All bolts are replaced with high grade gold cadmium plated. Even my rotors hidden by the auto drags are removed, repainted and repaded every winter.
Nothing is left dirty.
I have seen project cars on this forum with unpainted windshield frames, unpainted interior floors and undercarriages. None of these parts on my car are ignored. Lift my floor rugs and you find perfect painted fiberglass. I also use silicon grease of ante- seize on EVERY bolt and a torque wrench on anything important.
I am definitely ****. This also includes my work on my house.
Ok. There was an option misssing. I am absolutely **** retentive up until the point where I can no longer stand not driving the car. I am right about there right now. I have gutted my interior. POR15'd (is that a word) the floor pans. Insulated EVERYTHING. I am now getting ready to replace the wiring harness and HVAC stuff.
The problem is a new thought is running through my head. Well, what do I need to install just to get it to run. :reddevil
im 1/2 ****. right now i am totaly scraping the crap out of the floorpans and undersides of the carpet. it will never show, but it will be clean and the sound deadener will stick great. i didnt paint my frame because i dont have the space or knowhow. but if neither of those were a factor, you bet your sweet **** **** i would have a prowler orange frame, suspension, and probablay even gas tank. once i get into something im extremely ****, but if i dont get into it, im not. im actually going to have my steering colum chromed because i have painted it several times and it never comes out the way i want. plus it will match the billet steering wheel nicely.
