Colt welccome and good luck.I have had and still have the feeling you have for wanting a car.As a matter of fact i have a 1962 corvette completeley built in my head right down to the type of tire and stereo and what cd I will be blasting in the stereo.I have felt if you can picture in your head YOU WILL GET IT IF YOU REALLY WANT IT.No doupt about it I will own a custom 1962 corvette soon and you will own a c3 if you want it bad enough.I ahve had the same feeling often

Ditto every remark above Coltcarbine and welcome! :seeya I'm fairly new myself - one week - and have yet to find a friendlier more willing-to-help-you bunch of folks than at this site! Keep your eyes open for MY "dumb" questions 'cause I'll probably come up with the ones that YOU don't think of :lol: I know just how you feel. Bought my Vette in April with very little knowledge of them except for the fact that I LOVED THE CAR! That's the way, just jump right in! I, too, will be looking for the LOOK WHAT I BOUGHT post from you. Welcome again! Beverly

Since I discovered this site not quite a week ago, I've been on it everyday, ususally 2 or 3 times each day! I can't get enough of it! This is a great site!

Welcome aboard, there's tons of info here and a lot of great people. It's also a great place to find local owners near you. If you run across a vette your interested in run it by us before you buy, we won't stear you wrong.

Hey colt I dreamed for 10 years! and finally my wife (bless her heart) says "Honey lets get one!" So the dream came true for me and we bought a gorgeous 79 L-48 #'s match, black with oyster interior 68,000 miles. Too bad we bought it the first of October and being from Wisconsin I only got to put 200 miles on it before the snow flew. So now its under a cover in the garage and the whole family cant wait untill next spring to get it out! So I'm on here also trying to learn as much as possible about the whole Vette experience. My youngest daughter did a report for school and she did one on corvettes (with a picture of mine included ofcourse!) and scored a 98 on it. She loves it as much as I do. And as soon as I get my dumb scanner working again I'll post a pic of it! Hello to everyone!
