Default hi, new guy here.

Hello everyone. I'm a new kid on the block. I just discovered this site while trying to learn more about C3's. I do not own a vette, but I want a C3 so bad that I go to bed at night thinking about it. I"m 33 years old, I was thinking that sounds like something a kid would do......oh well. I do think about them all the time!
I will be hanging out around the boards, trying to learn more, and probably asking some dumb questions along the way. I want to learn all I can, about the car, and do some research for one day, I will be shopping for a nice C3.
Thanks.
Colt

Welcome! :seeya Don't waste too much time thinking about it ... jump right in. I've been a C3 owner for about 3 years and it's been great. You don't have to spend a fortune to get started with a solid car as long as you're prepared to put a little time and money along the way (which is half the fun). Most of the guys on this forum will tell you how much satisfaction they get from even the smallest repair or enhancement they make to their own treasures.

I'll be looking for a post telling everyone what you bought!

Careful, man, it's an addiction! Welcome to the forum--this is hands down the best place in the world to get information, help, and pure ol' vette brotherhood.

Hey I am 34 and have at least one corvette for the past 7 or 8 years. There is nothing wrong going to bed thinking about your corvette. Wait until you get one, then you will just have to open the garage door everytime you walk by just to get another look at it. You will love it. Welcome to the forum. This place will become a major user of your time also.

Welcome! Good luck on the C3 hunt. I think you're smart to learn before you buy. My first purchase was a great 74. Shortly after getting the car, I was desperate for a convertible. Now I'm the happy owner of a 71 roadster. There's a ton to learn about here & great folks to boot.
