Sidepipe inserts compared- Dogs and Vettepacks

Here is a quick video I did a while back where I attempted to compare the differences between Doug's D950 and Classic Chambered VettePacks inserts.

Did you get to compare the two at highway cruising speeds at about 3,000 rpm?

No unfortunately, that would probably be a better comparison. Only from the garage.

I went from sweet thunder chambered inserts to vettepacks myself and theres a huge reduction in the "drone" at highway speeds with the vettepacks.

Let me re-answer your question. Yes I have had them both on for a while and during all driving conditions. I liked the Doug's (not Dogs haha) at idle, they sound nice and mellow, but when you step on it, they sounded bad. I didn't like it. That's why I got the VettePacks. The VettePacks sound good all the time but they are sharper/crisper/louder. Hope this helps. I still also have the STS baffles in the garage somewhere and someday might put them on to hear the comparison with those on as well.

I had Doug's on my car. I love the look and finish, idle sound great. However, after 10 mins of driving...omg kill me. Took it all off went a custom exhaust using Doug's regular long tube headers into borla atak mufflers. Never been happier.
