Rock Auto is certainly your best bet in terms of price, but my experience with parts nowadays is they are mostly crap. Especially anything with a bearing and/or a seal. They all seem to come from China. I have had an Edelbrock water pump on my '79 for about 20 years. I sent it back to Edelbrock to have it rebuilt about 5 years ago just because I didn't trust a 15 year old pump and I was replacing the engine anyway. Its a lot more money but you really do get what you pay for.
I have bought a lot of stuff from Rock Auto for my '76 C3, my PT Cruiser and my wife's little Ford. I go by brand, period.
If it's Delco, Wagner, Moog, NGK, Fel-Pro, etc, I buy it.
Their service is good, their prices are excellent, but I don't buy the cheaper stuff with a name I've never heard of.
Never had a problem yet, and can't see ever having a problem with these brands that I've been using since I was a teenager, (and that was quite a while ago!)

Reason: correct spelling
Here's an ACDelco water pump, Delco part 252585, GM part 88926099, bought from RockAuto, painted GM Corporate Blue by me, and installed in my 80. I think it was cast in China, but seems to work. I replaced the (likely original) pump when I switched to electric fans.
There are certainly nicer water pumps out there, but this one was $35-.

Apparently Edelbrock failed after 13 months causing me to cast a wider net. Thx for the suggestion.
Do you mean you bought an Edelbrock pump and it failed? If so, I would try contacting them and see what they will do for you. It’s been a number of years for me but they rebuilt mine for a very reasonable fee and it has been working well ever since. Not impossible that things have changed at the company but you have a lot of money invested in that pump. I would give it a try before I threw it away.

A couple years ago I had one fail. The warranty, which I think was a year, had expired. Disappointed to say the least.
