Default ‘77 Pwr Steering Slop

Parts and rebuild are about 8-10 years old but have only a couple miles on them so still relatively new. When I turn the wheel, I first get about 1/8” of slop within the column before the rag joint rotates. From there, it appears to be slop in the newer control valve. I’m not sure if anyone can tell from the videos but let me know your thoughts. Is there an adjustment I missed?

rebuilt gear box
new pwr stg control valve & hoses
new tie rods & ball joints
new rag joint

Are you checking the play in the PS control valve with the engine running?

I'll second that. if you have no hydrolic pressure. there will be slop in the control valve.
