Steve is correct. For the 1977-1982 Corvette, Chevrolet designed a new console and center stack that would accommodate the entire range of GM's Delco radios due to increased depth.
I believe the radios installed in the C3 prior to '77 were particular to the Corvette due to restricted space.
I have a '73 stock radio and 1 channel amp (powered single speaker under dash) I could sell, $75 plus actual S&H.
They worked when they were pulled according to PO. Have been wrapped in storage ever since.

Reason: amp description
I'm curious too, as one of the POs of my '73 removed the original radio/put in one that says "Corvette" across the top. It doesn't work, so I'd like to find an original Delco AM/FM stereo with the silver bar that slides left and right (to go from AM to FM). Any ideas other than Ebay?

Check out the C3 Parts for Sale/Wanted section of this Forum. Numerous radios that would fit a 1973 have been listed in the past year. Here is a 73 radio that sold in March 2020: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...reo-radio.html
Good luck!

Thanks Interpon! I might drop that guy an email before I start trolling on Ebay to make sure he's still in action and to see if he might have one laying around.
