1981 Frame Spec Factory Compliance
Hello Form Members,
I am replacing the 4 outer body mount brackets on my bare frame. I am noticing the factory locations are out of spec. For example the rear mounts have a 3/8" difference between each other as measured to the end of the frame. However, they are in compliance with the tram hole behind the shock tower. No collision history. Is this normal? Should I correct to comply? This is a restomod, looking to improve the car not recreate factory defects. Thanks in advance!
