Mothers hands down. I also picked up, by Mother's, a Polishing Wheel. Its round about the size a baseball, you put it in a drill. With that and Mothers Polish, your wheels will come out great..
I used to use Mothers Chrome and Mag Wheel polish on my 1981 Aluminum rims until I found, Chrome-it Super Polish. I was at our Corvette Club car show last year and the vendor gave me a free sample to try and I never looked back. It is easy and quick to apply and polish anything from chrome, aluminum, stainless steel, any metal you want to shine. My buddy used it on his plastic headlights and they turned out looking new.
This is a quote from the vendors website, "Chrome-It can be used on all metals and is safe to use on plastic headlight lenses, glass, and much more".
I've used all of the mentioned polishes with varied results. By far the absolute best polish for aluminum is a product by the name of Smithbright. The gentleman that makes it is in the metal polishing business and created this product because he wasn't satisfied with what was available. There are specific Smithbright polishes for cast and billet parts.
