Has anyone installed vintage air on a 73 and was it an involved process or fairly straight forward? Mine had air but a lot of the ducts and parts are missing.
I'm about 90% done installing Vintage Air in my 73. It's fairly straight forward however I did have to massage a few things here and there. They have great customer service the couple of times I had questions and this forum has also been a huge help. I say go for it
I installed one in my 71. It wasn't too bad, but the instructions are not exact b/c the units are designed for year ranges, so there may be specifics to your car that may not be addressed in the instructions. I agree, the customer support is great, they are able to guide you once you present your issue.
I'm having a horrible time stretching the 2 1/2" ducts over the hard plastic vents that are about 2 3/4" . Spent the last 2 hours and wasted about 6 feet of this stuff....
I thought it was very straightforward, just follow VA directions carefully. And agree the hoses can be a pain plus getting the center console back where it is supposed to go.

yea I've been working on this for a couple weeks an hour here an hour there, no huge issues yet except for the hoses. Tomorrow I'm going to heat them up and stretch them 🤪. I did alot of upgrades with this install and yeah not looking forward to the infamous center console reinstall. But soon it will all be worth it 👌
