Are any street tires available in 325/50R15 ??? I know that BFG makes a Drag Radial in 325/50R15 but no Radial T/A's in that size.. I don't really want to use a Drag Radial on the street... So - what I'm looking for is a street legal tire in that dimension... or maybe even 335/50R15 or 345/50R15...
Just a question, why not go to a 16 or 17 inch rim. You are purchasing new rims already aren't you
Well - my past experience with low profile tires and 17 inch rims is that those tires wear too fast.. On my 95 Vert - I went through 3 sets of rear tires per year... Each tire only lasted 10000 miles and I was not doing burnouts etc. with them... and those tires were $250+ each... A 15 inch tire is half of that price and lasts twice as long... I drove 12000 with my current BFG Radial T/A's and the thread still looks like new - even though I did many burnouts with it already... I don't want to spend $1000/year on tires...
GrandsportC3, Nitto makes a good drag radial in 15". Nt-555R Extreme drag
275/6015, 11.10 overall width. These tires work. I'm thinking about getting a set. I watched a 78 camaro with a 383 auto, Pull 1.6 60ft with these tires.

I'm not looking for a Drag Radial... I have BFG Drag Radials for the track.. I'm looking for a street tire.. and it has to be 305's or larger... I pull 1.6x 60' times with my BFG Drag Radials too... I want the 325's for looks and not for performance.. On the track I put on the Drag Radials.. but for show - I want some big azz tires!!!
I have been looking into tires for the last 2 years and once BFG dropped the Euro T/A's it seems that the largest 15" street tire avail. now seems to be the 295's. Not much help or comfort I know but my local tire rep up here told me that other than the if you want perfromance street tires I would have to move up to 16". I will stick with the 245's until they wear out then maybe go to the 275 rear and 255 front.

Looks like I have to go with BFG Drag Radials.. The only pain is that they wear too fast... I 275's and 295's are not wide enough for me... I want to take advantage of my offset trailing arms... :D :D
