Backup lights
I noticed my backup lights were on any time the ignition key was on. I checked the switch and it was all ok. I followed the the wire up to the firewall, I found the 2 wires had been wrapped with electrical tape, but making contact. Separated the 2 wires, taped them back up and all works now. A good fix.

Wait! What is it you think you fixed? If my car is in reverse and I turn the ignition key on, the backup lights go on. I think we're missing something in your statement of the problem.
