Speedometer repair, '82 C3
Hey all - quick question; does anybody on here have any leads on a rebuild service for a speedo out of an '82? I can find good used ones out there but am interesting in sending mine out to be refurbished. Most every site I find does all C3's except 78-82. It's dead as a doornail and the cable is intact. Any help would be appreciated!
As an alternative, how difficult would it be to transfer the odometer from my speedo into a used one? Can't say I've ever had one of these apart. Cheers.

Speedo restoration was just talked about here a few weeks ago but my search came back empty, I used Eklers gauge restoration service and had my 1980 converted to a 140 mph . Guys on here we’re recommending a guy in Michigan but I can’t find the thread

Another outstanding, very experienced shop, in Denver, CO, is Deluxe Speedometer and Cable. Been around over 40 years and does all sorts of challenging rebuilds.

They restored both my tach and speedo. And then, upon putting it all back together i broke a part that is not available and they then repaired that as well. Can't say enough about them.
