Please take a look at these M/C parts. Is there anything that you guys see that would cause concerns? All the rubber parts seem perfect and undistorted. The bore is as slick as snot on a marble. Thanks for looking.

There should be a second spring between the 2 plungers!
I also took my MC apart to look at the seals. My seals were perfect also. I also checked the bore,,,,,,, perfectly smooooooth with NO edges for the seals to catch on. I think this "be careful how far you push the plunger in, on a vet MC, to not roll your seals back" is an old wives tale. Bench bleed the MC properly before install, and then the 4 sides. If you have manual brakes, make sure the bore is 1 inch and not 1.25 inches.

I tend to agree, the few masters I've rebuilt have the machining done almost the entire length and the portion not machined wouldn't be reached by the end seal because the compressed spring wouldn't allow it to. Just sayin'...

There is a second spring that goes into the bore first. I agree about pushing the pistons too far. These seals, when new are pretty tough. You certainly don't have to push in very for the air to come out when bench bleeding. Guess I'll start at the first issue I had and pull all the new calipers. Don't think it's the m/c or booster. I've tried 3 each of them.

I started a thread on 1-12-2021 titled "brake woes", long story. Please read if you have time. Been without brakes since last April. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have disassembled mc's that leaked down and couldn't find anything wrong. Parts looked like yours. Put in a rebuild kit and they worked.
My best guess is that the seals microscopically wore out or broke a edge, got hard, etc.
