I had to use 2" adapters to get the wheels to fit. If I ever get to drive it again, I'll find out if it worked. The brakes do look kind of small. But who knows, I may never change the rotors.
Yeah, 6K is a few right? Maybe it's a couple few. Is that more like it. I think they make good stuff. People brag about them. Maybe that's because they spent so much on them.
I've never taken it to the track, but I would like to one day.
I hope it doesnt end up being an issue for you but Ive read more than once that thick wheel spacers do funny things with placing load and wear where it wouldnt normally be and can cause your wheel bearing to wear very fast... It seems there is different factor that weigh in on this but I made the mistake of just using a different offset wheel on a 4X4 I owned and found I had to replace my front wheel bearing shortly after. In that case the actual tires where moved outward which isnt the case in your situation so it may not be a problem for you.

I hope I don't have that issue also. I kept the center of the wheel in the same spot. I didn't move the centerline out like you would if you were doing really wide wheels and fender flares. My first thought is if you don't move the centerline of the wheel, you should get the same loading on the bearings. Like you said you moved the wheels out. However, I don't really drive the car much and if I had to replace the bearings quicker than average, it wouldn't be the end of the world. But I will keep and ear listening for worn bearings. It will be hard to hear over the motor though.
