Do thieves drill down thru the keyhole on clubs to disable them?

-------------

No, they either stretch the wheel out of shape, or cut a slice in it. Then the club comes right out.

I use the pedal lock. It's a bit of a pain and if I am not careful can pop off some of the wiring I spliced to the fuse panel (need to fix that), but it goes on quickly and I really see no way to get it off without the key or a power grinder. The steering wheel club is more visual but it only takes 30 seconds to cut through the steering wheel and the club is off. Since I only raise the top if the car is parked outside overnight, the pedal lock is clearly visible to anyone who walks up and looks in. So now my concern is tow trucks and someone trashing my top only to find out about the pedal lock.

Lojack someday...does anyone know what their monthly fee is?
