If you have a die grinder and a steady hand you can grind out the hole just enough so the existing threads are just gone and you will be right at where the tap drill size needs to be for this operation. It's getting cut with the tapered tap so you dont need to be dead nuts perfect. I will post pix in a couple of weeks.
If that is just too scary, Home Depot sells a drill and tap kit for this job for $14 Ebay is a good source for the tap as well.

I ordered this a month ago and talked to Willcox today. He said it will not read correctly with the stock factory gauge. I'm not sure why they are charging $100 for a sender that is not compatible with the gauge Canceled the order.
I had ordered the Standard Motor Products from Amazon for $15 but was waiting for the Willcox part that was backordered. I swapped it out today and the SMP part seems to be correct. I lost some coolant doing the swap so maybe it's a little hot but my IR gun on the sender says 210* which is what my gauge reads.
