Default Plug wire recommendation and a spark plug question.

As mentioned in another thread, I’m putting an HEI distributor in my ‘71. I currently have either Doug’s or Hooker side mount headers (not sure). Can anyone recommend a good set of HEI plug wires that will do well with staying clear of the header tubes?
Also, I recently replaced the Accel sparkers that came with the car with the correct AC Delco R45TS that the specs on my crate motor call for. However, they are a good 1/2” longer than the Accels, putting the plug boots & wires closer than ever to the headers. Should I be looking at different plugs? Recommendations?

I use Moroso wires with 90 degree plug boots and use shorty Accel plugs to clear the headers.
I also have a spark plug socket where one of the walls has been cut out so that the socket can move sideways onto the plug.
This is the plug that matches the R45TS but is shorter.

Could be OBX/maximizer version of sidepipes as well. Thats what I have and I use 90 degrees wires with heat sleeves like these https://www.ebay.com/itm/X2-HIGH-TEM...UAAOSwVcpefUQB
for 7 years now with no issues. I just put new wires on yesterday since I changed engine bay color schemes and the old wires have no sign of heat damage. have taylor wires now just removed moroso wires. I do use stock regular length ac delco plugs.
I use a socket that allows the use of a regular open or closed end wrench at the end for my plugs to get the tight fit ones in and out.
