Default AC fuel filter GF 98

First I apologize if this has already been posted somewhere else. I did look around before starting a new thread but didn't see anything relevant. I am looking to replace the fuel filter on my 1969 Stingray. I noticed that it had the AC logo with the circle around it, an arrow pointing up, and text "This end up". I also noticed GF 98. So a little back story, several years ago the engine was rebuilt. typical 30 over, mild cam, different heads, holly carb, etc. I'm guessing that this fuel filter is not stock. I'm not seeing it when I search for a '69 fuel filter. Is this one there for a reason? More flow? I really don't know. Can anyone tell me what the numbers mean? What is the difference between a GF 90 and a GF 98? or a GF 432? Any info and/or advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

The GF-90 doesn't have a fuel return line connection. The GF-98 if for non corvette. The GF-432 is original corvette with return line connection. The thing that helped me the most was to hook up the original fuel return line. This solves lots of carb issues.
