I have to open doors to operate windows 79 L48. Is this a window or hinge issue

Rebuild your hinges with new bushings & pins, and then re-align your doors. Common problem.

On the 1975 coupe I purchased last month the PO replaced bushings and pins in the driver's door but did not re-align the door and I am faced with a similar situation as you. Hope to tackle this weekend as my driver door closes funky.
