1970 Heater Core Replacement
I’m trying to remove the heater core on my ’70 (with AC). I’m having a problem removing the Inner Heater Box. There were 3 large screws (lower right & left corners and upper right) and one stud (upper left side) that went through the firewall. I’ve removed the screws and the nut off of the stud, but the box is still held in place by the stud. I put a nut loosely on the stud trying to break is loose by tapping with a hammer to no avail.
