They tig weld a new lip on the clutch machine it on a lathe or mill install new seals and bearings refill with oil and recrimp.
Drive your car to get the engine warmed up completely. Bring car to a stop, but leave engine running. Open the hood so that you can see the fan as it is rotating. While watching it, turn the ignition OFF. If the thermal fan is OK, it should stop in 1-3 rotations. If it just keeps spinning, the thermal unit is defective.
