Looking for a link to the member who put the 65' 327/365 manifolds and Corvette Central mandrel bent headpipes on his C3.
I cannot find those headpipes on their site.
Here is my thread where I installed Corvette Central 64-65 2.5' downpipes on 2.5' ramhorns..... They look failry "smooth", but I don't think they're Mandrel bent. https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1598259107

I hope somebody has pics of 400 to show us. The passenger side pipe wouldn't have gotten past the Richmond tranny if I hadn't bought an "innie" type drain plug to replace the "outie" that it came with. It got by ok then but I still wrapped a few inches of the exhaust in that area (and I hate that wrap crap).
I'm looking to go to a 200-4R I am also curious how the pipes get past the Turbo 400 tranny.....????

I am wondering about using this set-up with a 400 auto trans car. Will it work? Are there other headpipes that fit?

If the 400 is much bigger than the TH350, you might have some sharp bends to get it to work. In the stock crossmember, the holes are rather close to the centerline. Here is my 79, you can see what they had to do to make it work with the true duals (and cats!). Perhaps an aftermarket crossmember, like the G-Force (pictured), would let you get away with fewer bends, since it has wide slots instead of holes.
