Default Wrong wiring harness
So I screwed up and ordered the wrong dash harness for my 70. It's apparently the early year model that used the 68-69 routing that ran along the bottom of the tach and speedo. I got the one that runs over the top, which was the late 70 harness. Is there any reason I can't use it if I move the clips to the top? Any other components that were changed along with it that won't allow it to be used?

Change those clips and you should be fine. The leads to the solenoid on the back of the tach will be long enough. And all the rest that go to the center cluster will fit as well.
