Looks like a good innovation to me! I tried my own coffee jar method - it worked fine but when the jar filled up I had to cut away the cable tie so I'll fit a long strip of Velcro instead so I can empty the jar and reattach the strip that holds it in place. I bought the Motive as shown above after the advice I got from the forum and I should get it at the weekend. I read some very good reviews on it, so it seems a good way to self-bleed the brakes. I ran a thread a couple of weeks ago about leaking bleed screws and got a lot of good replies, but maybe I could introduce it here as this is now quite a problem trying to get the screw to seal. I've tried half a dozen methods as you can see in the photo. The O ring disintegrated, the brass washer creased, and the flared copper washers were too big. The only one that worked was the quarter inch white nylon washer. So far it's been okay but a mechanic told me that once the brakes got hot it would start leaking. He said the screw must seal with the chamber by screwing in and out to work it into the base properly. I thought I'd found the perfect solution, but the mechanic didn't think so. Got any ideas for getting the screw to shut off without an internal seal?
I'm thinking the blenders are bad,,, manufactured incorrectly,,, or the seats in the caliper casting are made wrong,,, especially if your still not getting a seal after ALL the different ways you tried,,,🤷
