Default 3D Printed Spreader bar

Only kidding....
I've been wanting to install a Spreader Bar in my '72, but i have the Californian smog pump installed, so therefore an extra pulley is installed.
I'm still running the mechanical fan and thermo clutch, and looking around on here on other posts about bars, i could perceive a problem arising.
So being in the machinist trade i spent some time measuring what i have and then drew up a bracket fitment possibility in Solid Edge.

I then 3D printed a couple of mock up brackets and a couple of rod ends (while i wait for the delivery of my ends to arrive),
they press fit into a piece of 1" pvc plumbing pipe which i can cut to length for the best fitment.
The large holes are a tight slip fit over the upper control arm shaft nuts so i'm not disturbing anything until i've made the proper metal brackets.

Passengers side is as low as i can get the rod end mount as it's sitting on top of the radiator hose already.
Drivers side has no interference problems.

I have about 6mm (1/4") clearance away from the fan blades.
But as you can see, the 1" bar will hit on the pulley.

my choices....
Could I get away using a 7/8" bar, but would the compression strength be enough if i get the thickest wall section i can find?
(could even make it out of solid bar)
I'm going to print a couple of rod ends to suit a piece of 7/8" (22mm) tube/pipe and then see how much clearance that gives me.

I could put longer studs in the water pump & thermo fan mount, then make a spacer to go between and push the fan more forward,
then i could move the bracket rod end mounts another 1/4"+ forward.

Combination of both?

Or just forget about it......
thoughts?

I'm not in a good place to take photos right now. Sorry, I'm kinda homeless.
but mine sits below my water pump pulley by a good half inch. Keep in mind your engine moves under load and when you drop the clutch hard. give yourself plenty of room.
The spreader bar is probably the best and least expensive mod I've ever done. I have the speed direct bar. not sure how a smog pump would have anything to do with it.

Who says the bar has to be straight. Do all roll bars only use straight tubing?

I used a Panhard bar to clear my dry sump pump.
