I’m ordering all the new components to replace everything for the power windows in my 73 Coupe.
It appears that the electrical circuit requires one 30 amp circuit breaker and one relay for the complete circuit.
Is this correct or do I need a circuit breaker and relay for each window?

My '73 just has one of each. The factory system apparently sends too much current through the power window switches which can cause premature failure of the switch. Especially if the switches are worn or are cheap reproduction parts. I ended up sourcing some aftermarket switches that solved my problem but they don't look factory and there are other options. Here is a diagram I saved just in case. I believe it was modified by Richard454 to show how to add additional relays to protect the power window switches. Note the diagram has been modified for just one switch (the right one). You'd have to duplicate the wiring for the other switch. I didn't go down this road but if I ever have trouble with the switches I installed, I'll revisit.

Thanks for the information and for including Richards modified schematic.
Leave it to Richard to improve any electric circuit.
