Default Moving engine-less car

Hey y'all. I put this in technical because I figure you guys and gals have more experience with this than anybody else.

I have my C3 in my garage with the engine out and transmission still in. I think it's going to be in the way later this week when the delivery guys come with a few new appliances, so it will have to be moved. The two main questions I have are:

Do the brakes work with the engine out? I think they should, maybe I'd need to plug that vacuum hose to the booster?
and Is there enough support that I could roll it forward 20-30 feet without the transmission bellhousing bouncing off the ground? Right now it's sitting on wooden blocks.

If I can't figure those out I may have to figure out another way to get the appliances into the house, I guess. I really appreciate the time and information from anybody. Thank you!

Keep the cross member in place on the trans and use some 550 cord to tie the bell housing mounting tabs to the firewall. Should be fine. Brakes will still work. Or you go to harbor freight an buy 4 of these.

Awesome, thanks! That's pretty much the best case scenario answer.

I prefer car dollies. Those things are RAD provided you don't have a lot of cracks in your garage floor (or where ever you're moving the car).

If you don't do the car dolly things make sure you air up the tires as much as you comfortable with. They roll so much easier.
