Simple Speedo Question
I just recently acquired my first vette (a 77), and now I have my first real problem. The Speedometer went out :( What I was wondering is, someone told me you can't buy like a universal speedometer cable because the teflon ends on it. So basically, I was just wondering if that is true. Or if I can use just a universal. Thanks in advance!

I just wanted to get it out there and drive it around I geuss. I also was just sort of curious whether that was true or not. But I already ordered one from Ecklers, so hopefully I can get her out on the road soon. Thanks.

I didn't try ecklers or zip but the two I tried from local auto places (Auto Zone and Pep Boys) were too long for the job and I had total needle bounce. I got the part from my chevy dealer and all is right with the world.....for now :cheers:
