In the salvage business "clean" refers to having no damage, not the actual cleanliness (dirt, grease, etc) of the part.

yes I know that but he mentions it's never been collapsed (which means no damage) then says very clean. Quite a bit of rust and dings on that unit..

If you're in need of a '68 part ~ it's pricey but not bad. :crazy:

Although ~ for a driver you're better off with the improved '69 version. :jester

Everything I have seen from that particular seller is JUNK!
To add even more insult, the price he wants is RIDICULOUS!

I've seen many of his 'auctions' close without any bids which makes me
believe there aren't as many fools out there as he thinks there are.

Yes! Everyone should stay a way from this "friend of lord" ,My friend bought rearaxle from 1996 vette for hes 1992 vette and we asked all details etc to make sure it was good. Well when it came carrier was bent and there was a hairline crack where "ladderbar" arm mounts...
