Vacuum leak is what I'd check for first. Check all your vacuum hoses and plugs if you are using them. Get some brake cleaner, run the engine and spray the brake cleaner around the intake and carb. If you idle increases even more you've found the leak. It's a better test that the smoke test.

Ok thank you I will try that. However on more thing I neglected to mention.... After I have ran the car for only a few minutes ( because it makes me nervous for it to be racing I won't let it run long) I noticed the secondaries having gasoline moisture on them... Is this normal!!?? Any thoughts

How high is your idle going? Never noticed gas on my secondary blades before. That might be your issue.

So what would cause gas accumulating on the blades.... To high of fuel pressure? float stuck open??

Float has probably dropped and it is also stuck on fast idle from the choke.....it is supposed to idle high during first start warm up.
If the float drops, it will keep filling the bowl and that fuel has to go somewhere........
If you are not versed in Q-Jets, I recommend sending it out to a pro.....like Lars or Allstate carb.
If you want to tackle it......you can fix it for about $25....but you need to have the right top plate gasket and the right float. It is imperative that the float be set properly.

I did rebuild the carb.... and it ran really good afterwards. I know it is supposed to have an increased idel speed of about 1200 rpm.... Which is where if was before. I guess it could be debris causing the float to stick or clog passages.... Although I'm not sure how or why. I quess I will be tearing it apart.... GRRRR!!!
