"A" Pillar
Hi,
I'm replacing the weather strip on the "A" pillars,(79 coupe) the windshield was replaced by a PO, at some point, so the windshield trim and retainers have been off before. One side seems to have been sealed to the "A" pillar but not the other, The AIM list some form of sealer, but I've been unable to find any info on it. It has been suggested a fibrous roofing material be used. I do have the the seals that go between the retainer and windshield trim.
The question is , is the S/S trim sealed to the "A" pillar frame?
Any thoughts are appreciated
