Default bolt assembly packages or kits

Where can I find bolt kits for assembling my 69 vette? Tired of cleaning and painting. I need a complete nut, bolt and washer kit for my bumpers and all brackets back to the bare frame.

Get an AIM, make a shopping list, and go to Lowes.

All the major Corvette supply dealers offer correct bolts for all applications. There is no one "kit for all the bumper attach bolts back to the frame," but there are bolts for all specific applications. Paragon has an entire section at the back of their catalog defining all the different bolts with their part numbers, and there are bolt kits throughout their catalog for virtually every bolt in the assembly manual, allowing you to do a restoration-correct assembly with all new bolts. Just start buying.

Lowes is probably not a good source for quality bolts. If you're going to buy good commercial and industry-grade bolts that are not restoration-specific, you should probably use McMaster-Carr. The AIM only shows the GM part number for the hardware, and does not call it out by size, spec, or length. This makes the AIM useless for creating an actual Bill of Materials for procurement of substitute aftermarket hardware.

These are handy and list the sizes for a multitude of fasteners. You can get paper copies or CD versions. Jot down the sizes you want and stop by any well stocked hardware store.

very nice.. i have the book from the dealer and you can download this..

i find home depot and lowes pretty much worthless for quality and selection.. i find next best ACE Hardware has a pretty nice selection and grades (found the correct air pump plug threads here when sponsors and others did not).. then McMaster is great.. but ultimately i pay for the vendors sometimes as it is easy and pretty correct with often country of mfr to choose.
