No synthetic oil??? I've been using Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil in my 69 Muncie since the early 80's. No problems shifting. In fact it is smoother than when i had the Wolf's Head dino oil in it. And it does not leak.

Looks like it is my drain plug I cannot get off, I was able to get the fill plug removed.
