Has anyone tried this stuff? I have seen the ads in almost every corvette magazine "run cooler with evans" coolant without water. Their website and technology is very impressive however it seems to me that it is really developed for the serious high performance racer and not for general street driving. One individual actually told me that it made his engine run ten degree hotter. When he questioned them, they said that was normal and the engine would perform better at the higher temperature. That said, maybe the ads should say "run better". What do you guys know?
Ray Bohacz (sp?) did a very comprehensive article on this stuff in one of the Corvette mags a year or so ago. He was very keen on it for several reasons.
My take on it was similar to yours - an expensive solution to heating problems that cannot be solved conventionally.
