I'm considering installing a Skip White Performance rollerized Stage Three stroker in my 79'. Has anyone had any experience with these engines from this supplier? Their write up spins a good convincing yarn.

Great sales pitch. Pro comp heads. For me internally balanced is a must. If they will use quality heads, internally balance and actually dyno tune your specific engine it is a better option. Then your close to this price range and not getting a forged bottom end which I would want if my peak power is @ 6300 RPM and Im over 500 HP.

I would probably go with the hot hydrasulic roller version.
You get what you pay for.

I have gotten several items from that shop ,, never a motor. I also googled reviews and found some good some bad ,, I also considered his 427 sbc , and had I gone that way i would have set up a camera to verify i followed all his directions for the warranty.

I have a 4 bolt 383 I just had built by Jim Barth (tpi421vette). He's on C4 forum. The engine is complete from Pan to AFR 195 heads . Never been fired $5700. I live in Calgary

Interesting. What components went into your motor?

If you look at skip whites site he does use dart heads . AND P/C .. Usually the higher level motors use dart
