Default Muncie help!!

So I'm installing the new Hurst, and I think a bolt breaks off when tightening up the bolts that feed into the bottom of the transmission mount. But then the bolt falls out, and I realize that the aluminum threads in the Muncie just "broke" and stayed on the bolt! WHAT DO I DO NOW besides cry?? How can this be fixed?? Helicore???

helicoil best way, but you might try some thread restorer I think pep boys or autozone sells it. It is a little tube of blue stuff that makes new threads. :chevy

The heli coil works great. If done right the threads are stronger than the original. You now have steel threads instead of aluminum. You can try thread restore I have not had much luck. It depends on how much (if any) thread is left.

A Heli-Coil is easily the best fix to do. Very strong and permanent.
