Default Parking brake cable routing

Just so I don't have to go back and correct it, I figured I'd ask. I'm reassembling the T-arm assembly and running new brake components. Does the parking brake cable go inboard or outboard in relation to the hydraulic line? Or does it matter? I'm not sure is the parking brake sheathing moves during operation.

Nothing in that picture is stock.
On the stock arm the bracket is on the outside of the arm and the cable runs to the outside.
Is that cable long enough to run to the outside?
This link shows a stock arm with the bracket relocated to the top of the arm and the cable is run to the inside.
Did you ask the manufacturer of the trailing arm?

Thank you Mel, you're right... those are Van Steel trailing arms. Emailing them is my next step. I was thinking this is a fairly common modification so others have been here. I know, with bicycles, the sheathing will sometimes move when engaging the brake. I didn't know if that would be an issue here. I'm taking advantage of the forum and trying to get opinions on what has worked, as it's not stock.

After some “manhandling“, just like Van Steel’s instructions say, I ended up running the parking brake cable inboard of the hydraulic brake line. I still have plenty of clearance between the parking brake cable and the battery compartment.

Doing the trailing arms with coil over rear set up at this time I am using the Van Steel setup. I read the instructions Van Steel has for this step and it is not clear about the routing. After playing around with the emergency brake cable end, my main concern is clearance for the coil over rear shock as I don't want the cable in the shock area. Your photo does not show there is an issue with rubbing so I say go for it like it is.

I would just try to get a little separation between the two. A slight bend on the bulkhead brake line bracket should do the trick.

I ended up routing the parking cable inboard of the braided line. I posted pics a couple hours ago, but I guess they're awaiting mod approval. As noted above, a slight bend in the sheathed part was all it needed. If my measurements are correct, I should have about an inch clearance between the cable and the body's battery box when I put the body back on.
