That looks like the kit from Vansteel.

Vansteel

I have the kit for my '72 but haven't made it that far along in my project yet. If you search the forum with Vansteel rear coil overs, or some derivation thereof, you find threads talking about it.

No doubt better then Henry ford's transverse spring design.

I have the Van Steel but have not yet installed it. It is of excellent quality. Both Van Steel and Ridetech have good reputations in the biz.

Hopefully it works out great for you. We ripped out both the front and rear suspension. Had to jump on the rear suspension because my 17x9 rally wheels did not fit. And don't want to use spacers

This car has stock style suspension and can hang with a C6. So are coil overs better? I would say no.

that's a sweet looking car. Is it yours? What size meats are on the back? The rear tire wells looks like it was widened to fit the tires.

That's the car that was shown on the TV show big muscle. Front tires 305 and rear wider then that. Google youtube 65 corvette big muscle. " the original stingray " big muscle. Correction 315s front and back.

Not mine but inspired me to build one like it. Was going to use an aftermarket frame and suspension but after a lot of research found that for the money spent the returns are not Worth it. In many of cases you could end up with something that won't handle as well. A properly set up stock style C2-C3 suspension will handle better than most of us could drive to it's limits

The nice thing about coil overs is ride height adjustability.
