I have a 327 350 hp 11:1 compression engine. I have AC-45 plugs in it now. Has anybody switched from the AC-45 to the AC-45S and noticed an improvement in power? It seems the only engine that might have an issue with the piston hitting the plug is the high compression engines. I have researched on here and really haven't seen a direct comparison 45 to 45S.
It is very unlikely you would see an increase in power from a projected tip plug......
The projected tip typically offers a slight resistance to detonation and runs a bit cleaner......they are also easier to read. But don't go buying a set because you think you need them.....you will not notice a shred of difference seat of pants.
If you want to upgrade.....run a NGK V-power plug....but even then, only if you need them.
