Eckler's Wiper Door Kit
i was going to do the electric wiper door conversion using a Miata headlight door conversion and stumbled onto this-

Has anyone tried this? Not much information on the site.
Would save time and trouble if it is a true bolt it kit.

I have been working on C3s now for 30+ years. bought thousands of dollars in parts from various vendors and I have to say Ecklers is one of the worst. Their customer service is terrible and their prices are not all that good. There are several good ones out there. My go to has always been Zip products. I have used them all and keep coming back to these guys for most things. The kit itself is probably OK but I would look elsewhere to purchase it.

i seldom comment on vendors but after buying parts for 35 plus years I was burned by Ecklers. they sent me the wrong parts, refused credit and also wanted me to pay freight in and out even with it being Ecklers mistake, fighting it out with the credit card company but Ecklers customer service is worthless and I would never purchase from them again.

I dealt with ecklers back when Ralph Eckler ran the show, somehow he got forced out and everything has gone downhill since. I live 20 is miles from them and use our supporting members. Ecklers is a joke.

I agree. Although I do unfortunately still shop at Ecklers (was there yesterday) it’s only because if I need something quick to finish a project I can order and save the shipping fees and times and just go pick it up. But they do drop the ball and don’t like refunds. Bought a headlight switch from them that would make the high beams flicker. I wanted a refund and all they would do is exchange. I’ll find out today if this new one will do the same as well.
