We recently replaced the front clip on my son’s 1976. We did a repaint, etc and got her all buttoned up. Everything is working except the front drivers side turn signals. Neither of them (front and side) blink like they’re supposed to. I found and reconnected the ground wire that goes to the front left side of the radiator support. Is there another ground strap somewhere, specific to those two lights? We also replaced the flasher, just in case.
Looking at the 76 drawing it is the same as a early 77.
The grounds are common for both front headlights and L&R turn signals and side marker lights. There are 3 common ground eyelets in the forward lamp harness.
The starting point for the ground circuit is the Alternator ground Eyelet.
The Alternator ground wire is part of the forward lamp harness.
The Alternator ground wire then splices at S226 S=splice.
From S226 the ground eyelets are at front left front fender skirt and center of front fender support.
Check C102 grounds at the 3 wire connectors plug. C=connector.

Hope this helps...
